The 2026 H-E-B Austin Sunshine Run is a non-profit, pet-friendly event. 100% of every dollar made from registrations directly benefits the Austin Sunshine Camps. Bring family, friends, pups, and colleagues to run with us for a good cause and to celebrate afterwards with food, drinks, and music right in the heart of Austin, at Vic Mathias Shores. The race is on Sunday, May 3, 2026 and will kick off at 7:55am. Don’t wait, register today!
WHY WE Race
All of the proceeds and funds raised from the Sunshine Run benefit kids in Central Texas through life-changing experiences at the Austin Sunshine Camps (ASC) without the barrier of cost to them or their families.

Please plan to pick up your packet on Friday or Saturday to avoid long lines and possible delays on race day. We will not be responsible if you don’t get your packet on time on Sunday!
Race Period:
The in-person race will take place on May 3, 2026 at the beautiful Vic Mathias/Auditorium Shores in Downtown Austin, TX.
Race Course:
Beginning at Vic Mathias/Auditorium Shores, the race course will make its way over South 1st bridge and then toward West Austin before circling back to the finish line.

6:30 a.m. - Registration/Packet Pick Up Opens
7:35 a.m. - Opening Ceremony Begins at the Expo Stage
7:55 a.m. - Fastest Dog in Austin 5K Begins
8:00 a.m. - 10K/5K Begins
9:15 a.m. - Awards at Expo Stage
9:20 a.m. - Kids K Begins
After crossing the finish line, runners are welcome to hang out at our expo to check out our sponsors and vendors. Complimentary food and drinks will be available. The event will begin closing at 10:00am.
