AUSTIN (Sara Faghihi) - There’s no shortage of workout studios in Austin, but every now and then you find one that actually feels different the second you walk in. That’s been my experience with Studio Three.
What immediately stood out to me is how intentional everything feels. From the way classes are structured to how the instructors interact with you, nothing comes off random or phoned in. And yes, the instructors actually know you by name. Not in a forced, overly scripted way, but in a way that makes you feel like you’re part of something rather than just another body in the room.
The Real Reason I Keep Coming Back: Interval
Now let’s talk about the real reason I keep coming back: Interval.
I’ve taken a lot of HIIT classes, and I don’t say this lightly—Interval is one of the hardest HIIT classes I’ve taken to date. It pushes you but it’s not chaotic. There’s structure behind the intensity, which makes you feel like you’re getting stronger every time instead of just surviving the workout.

Beyond the HIIT Lane
That said, Studio Three isn’t just about HIIT. They offer a range of classes like Pilates, HI DEF, and 3x3, which leans more into strength and Pilates style training.
I’ll be honest, I haven’t explored all of them yet. I’ve taken mostly Interval and a handful of HI DEF classes (which are also great, especially with the newer setup) but as someone who clearly gravitates toward HIIT, I haven’t fully stepped out of that lane...yet. Maybe I’ll get around to it eventually.
Consistency Across the Board
And something else worth mentioning: even though one of my favorite instructors is no longer there, I still feel confident walking into class. That says a lot. The consistency across the coaching team makes it easy to trust that you’re in good hands no matter who’s leading the workout.
The Bottom Line: If you’re someone who loves a challenging, well thought out workout and values an environment where you’re actually seen, Studio Three is absolutely worth trying.
