AUSTIN (Sara Faghihi) - I’ve tried a lot of workouts- and I mean a lot. And if I’m being honest, most of them start to feel the same after a while. But Regymen Fitness Round Rock is one of the few that actually keeps me engaged from start to finish.

This isn’t your typical HIIT class where you’re counting down the clock or zoning out between sets. It’s a coach led, high energy workout that moves with purpose the entire time. You’re either working or transitioning, there’s no dead space. And something I really appreciate is that they have screens throughout the studio to reference, so you always know what you’re doing and what’s coming next without feeling lost.

The Triple Threat: Build, Burn, and Blast

What I like most is how everything is structured around three formats: Build, Burn, and Blast.

Build (Strength Focused)

This is your slower, more controlled class. Think:

  • Heavier weights

  • Lower reps

  • More rest between sets

It’s all about progressive overload and getting stronger over time. You’re not rushing through movements, you’re focusing on form and actually building muscle. If you like lifting or want that “I feel strong, not just sweaty” vibe, this is your class.

Burn (Endurance + Strength Hybrid)

Burn sits right in the middle.

  • Moderate weights

  • Higher reps

  • Shorter rest

You’re still lifting, but your heart rate stays up the entire time. It’s that muscle endurance + cardio blend where you feel the burn (literally) and walk out drenched but also feel like you lifted.

Blast (HIIT / Conditioning)

This is:

  • Fast-paced intervals

  • Cardio-heavy

  • Explosive movements

Think sprints, circuits, bodyweight moves, maybe some light weights, all designed to spike your heart rate and keep it there. If you’re a HIIT person, this is probably where you’ll live.

The Vibe Check

But what really makes it hit is the vibe.

The lighting, the music, the coaching.. it all just works. You walk in and immediately feel locked in. Between the coach’s guidance and the screens to follow along, you’re never second guessing what you should be doing. I don’t find myself losing focus. The workout flies by and you leave feeling like you actually did something. The community feels natural. Not forced, not overly intense - just people showing up, putting in the work, and feeding off the energy.

For me, Regymen is one of those workouts that actually elevates my routine and that’s what makes the difference.
